Cathy is the parent of a 16 year old trans daughter who came out two years ago. The journey began with panic and not knowing where to start. Connecting with Intuit's trans community gave Cathy support when she needed it most. Besides learning about resources and how to support her daughter, Cathy connected with other trans parents, both inside Intuit and outside. That sense of community helped her work through all of the emotions, and the ups and downs along the way. She’s increasingly hopeful for a world where her daughter is accepted for who she is.
